Meet a few of our CORKERS – CORK’s co-working community

Meet David Hicks, one of the first members at CORK co-working space here in #Tooting. David is a software developer and network manager for schools. He’s also starting a side project, building automated cloud-based applications for schools to help them manage their information more effectively. David lives just up the road from CORK on Amen Corner, so it’s a very easy stroll to the office! “It’s great to have this new co-working space on my doorstep”, says David.

“It’s more affordable than similar hot-desking places in Central London and saves me having to jump on the tube or sit in a coffee shop all day. The wifi’s fast and it’s handy having printing and scanning included in the price. I’d recommend CORK to other startups looking for a local friendly and practical co-working space.”

Meet Williams Johnson Mota, another resident of CORK co-working space here in #Tooting. Williams and his wife Silvia recently co-founded B-Hive Living, a new developer & operator of purpose-built private rental co-living homes and live/work spaces that meet the changing needs of a new generation of young professionals and entrepreneurs. “I enjoy working out of CORK as its purpose and values match my own. It’s so important to have a space such as this in Tooting, for like-minded entrepreneurs to live, work and create together.”
